I can’t help thinking

The perfect place

To put a fruit bread or a coffee cake

After its been received

Sliced

Sampled for show and

Gratitude and

Now must be stowed away

So the evidence can be swept up and under and

Be hermetically sealed

Underneath a red lid

It doesn’t matter which one
