No Reward

Today

Near the end of day two in underwear and

Peeing on the potty

My son turned to me and said

Daddy you should get M&Ms for using the potty too

I smiled and laughed but

Inside I agreed

I want a reward for things like

Tying my shoes

Counting to ten

Reading a whole book on my own

Eating my vegetables

Peeing in the potty but

Not M&Ms

I don’t like chocolate that much and

It’s no good for my acid reflux
